Best Way Lift A Leg Physical Therapy

Did you just have a knee or leg surgery? Not able to bend your leg? Not able to lift into the bed or onto a couch. Need a better way?

The Strap-A-Handle could be your best bet. We didn’t invent it for that reason (moving and tradeshows), but we’ve had a lot of people tell us that they use our Strap-A-Handle HDV (heavy duty) versions for their physical therapy and home health care.

They not only use it to lift their surgically repaired legs, ankles, feet and knees into their beds or onto a couch or chair, but in some cases have their friends, physical therapists or family members wrap it around their torsos (under the arms people!) and help lift them up out of chairs or bed. It can even be used to help walking and in mobility drills.

More than that, we’ve had some parents (dads and moms) tell us about how they use it as an easy way to help their kids ride their bikes for the first time. They simply strap it around the torso (again, parents, under the arms) and use the handle in the child’s back to help keep them balanced. In a few tries, the kids are riding their bike (or at least learning to) soon after.

Useful tool for travel, moving and shopping

So, if you don’t have an SAH – consider it not only a useful tool for travel, moving and shopping, but also for the elderly and the young bike riders. We don’t advise using it to lift people (as it can’t support their weight and their momentum), but if you need to try to lend a little balance with a handle, or at least help lift up a leg, consider the Strap-A-Handle HDV versions.
