What materials are used to make your products?

All of our sports balls are constructed of high-gloss synthetic leather. Basketballs and footballs also have synthetic pebble leather on panels that do not contain photos.

Can I use copyrighted or trademarked materials?

We cannot print copyrighted or trademarked logos or slogans without the express written consent of the proper licensing entity. Please see our Disclaimers and Terms & Agreements section for more information on this.

How long is delivery time?

Currently, footballs, soccer balls and volleyballs ship in approximately 2 weeks. Baseballs, softballs, hockey pucks and basketballs ship in roughly one week.

Can I change my order?

Once your order has entered the production phase changes can not be made. If you need to make a change to your item please call us immediately so we can try to get the change entered as quickly as possible. We can be reached at 410-885-4760.

Can you ship outside the continental United States?

Yes, we can ship to Alaska and Hawaii as well as internationally. If you don't see your country listed please contact us and we'll add it to our list.

What is your cancellation policy?

All custom sports ball purchases are non-refundable from time of payment. Unused, unpeeled acrylic cases can be returned minus a 15% restocking fee.

What is your return policy?

Due to the custom nature of our products, items are only refundable if an error was made during the production process. If you've made a spelling error or an error similar in nature, please contact us and we will work with you to help correct this issue.

What size and type of files do I need to upload for my photos to print clearly?

The clearer the image the better it will print on the ball. We prefer images of 150dpi or better, but 72dpi is acceptable. If the image appears blurry in the design tool then it will appear blurry on the final product. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us using our live chat tool.

Can I change the color of the stitching of my baseball or softball?

At this time, we currently offer red stitching for our baseballs and our softballs.

Can I use more than one picture on the ball?

Yes, since our sports balls are full coverage, you can put as many photos on a ball as you see fit. Please be sure to note the size and resolution of these photos while uploading to ensure full quality printing. Please also be sure to note the cropping lines so that an important piece of your art will not be cut off.

What is Custom Image Technology (CIT)?

Custom Image Technology is a technology that is exclusive to hipparoo.com. It is a process that allows us to place images on any of our sports balls with the exact replication and clarity of the original photograph. This process produces items of high quality and photos that will not fade, crack, warp or peel over time.

I can't figure out how to use hipparoo.com. What do I do?

I'm having problems getting my photos to upload. What do I do?

If you are getting an error when trying to upload an image this may be a result of poor image quality. Our image upload tool will provide an error message telling you what the problem is. If you aren't receiving an error or a success message, your image may be too large. Our image size restriction is 10MB. If you are experiencing additional issues please contact us.

Can I play with your custom sports balls?

While our items are regulation weight and size, these items should not be played with. Playing with them will damage the graphics and result in that area of the ball being damaged.

How do the images appear on the ball?

Images will have a shiny, clear coat on them. They will be smooth to the touch. They will not feel like the normal material of that sports ball. The smooth glossy coat will only apply to panels of the ball that have images or text.

What are the measurements and weights of each sports ball?

  • Baseballs: 2.687" diameter; 5 oz.
  • Softballs: 3.82" diameter; 6 oz.
  • Regulation Size Footballs: 11.75" length; 12 oz.
  • Regulation Size Basketballs: 9" diameter; 1 lb. 6 oz.
  • Volleyballs: 8.4" diameter; 10 oz.
  • Soccer Balls: 9" diameter; 12 oz.
  • Hockey Pucks: 2.875" diameter; 1" thick; 5 oz.

Can the sports balls be used for play?

While our sports balls can be used for play, we suggest that they be used as more of a collectors' item to preserve the quality and integrity of the products and photos. The high-gloss synthetic leather can make products more slippery than usual.

Will all pictures be accepted?

Any picture that is considered lewd or offensive will not be accepted and hipparoo.com has the right to refuse production of this product.

Can I save my images?

To save your images you must have an account created with us. Once you have an account created you can save your images to your 'locker'.

Will my online orders be secure?

Yes, all of your online orders will be 100% secure. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

What if I'm ordering for an entire team, league, school, etc?

We do offer bulk discounts for teams or leagues. Please contact us by 410-885-4760 or email to discuss discounted pricing.

Do you price match?

We do. If you purchase from our site and see a larger discount available within 48 hours, contact us and we'll refund the difference.

Can I pay extra to rush the order?

Yes, but please contact our customer service department before paying this fee to make sure we can meet your needed date.
